Austin`s Firegrill and Oyster Bar in Albany

My roommate and I stopped in for lunch today. We walked in waited a minute two for a hostess to come up front and seat us. We chose the patio. We waited over ten minutes and no one came to get a drink order or even acknowledge that we were there. As this wasn't the first time that I have had to wait a ridiculously long time for service to begin, I chose to leave. As we walked through the restaurant to leave the hostess that seated us says have a wonderful day! She didn't even recognize us as the people she had seated less than twenty minutes earlier. I will not return.

There is a nice variety to choose from on the menu. It is great place to catch a game or, weather permitting, sit outside to hear a live band on occasion. In season, the oyster options are plentiful and also delicious! The sandwiches are prepared to your liking and numerous entrees are also available. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

My son and I hang out at this location. Great atmosphere for all family members.

We Had the cheese fries w/bacon and brisket, oysters, st. Louis ribs, brisket and chicken. All where delicious. Service is slow. But food is good.

Favorites are the Austin Burger, Grouper Bites and new Triple Threat Wings. Great service, variety of dishes and reasonable prices...5 stars !

The food was very delicious! I would recommend changing the flooring. It's extremely slippery.

Service was with a smile it was fast. The food was delicious and I will absolutely return and if you've not been to this place, I recommend it highly. Were I to start dating again, I absolutely would take my gal pal here!!! Hahaha...But seriously, this is someplace I wouldn't think twice about bringing someone.

I would give 5 stars.. But!!! They overcharged for 2 mixed drinks By 12 dollars. Yes I've ordered the drinks there many times before.. They only took 4 dollars of the bill.. I liked this place, very very disappointed

Great food as usual. Little louder since they did the remodel. But over all a great place to eat!

The food was okay. My sides,not sure they were fresh. I ordered a grilled fish entree and received a blackened fish entree. It was fine, but not the best I've had and I would not pay $26 for that meal again. Service was extremely poor. We were served our meals before we were given our silverware. Ordering took forever. I don't think I will go back again.

Great beer choices. I had shrimp tacos and my wife a Reuben, both were good.

The food was reasonably priced and nicely portioned. Austin's signature wing sauce was super good. Our waitress was very nice. I'll come back in the future.

So what a great way to start off my new year!The shrimp and grits were excellent! The prices not two bad either I got a cocktail and my husband got the brisket and bbq not to bad for 40.00.our server Ashley was amazing will definitely be returning!

My first visit here and we really had a good time, service was a tad slow, the food was good. I had the wings they could have been cooked a litlle longer but they were good.My friend had a burger he said was pretty good. All in all everything was good.

The food is always great. The service is usually good too. Good selection of drinks at the bar. The flat iron steak is a personal favorite of mine.

I ordered the Brisket with Fried Okra and Baked Sweet Potato. The potato was sadly the best part of the dish. The brisket was dry and cooked to leather and the fried okra was soggy. Won’t come back. Over priced for marginal food. Our waitress was good but food was terrible.

Thanks to Google Maps we found this restaurant. We travel with our dog Peaches (we found her in Albany, GA on Rte 133 near a peach orchard) so we always call ahead to ask if a restaurant has outside seating that allows dogs.Thank GOD they did!! The oysters were the biggest and best I have ever had😊❤️.The bar-b-q was delicious. The beer and wine selection was really good.Our waitress, Peyton was an absolute doll!!I share the picture of the oysters after I ate them. Sorry but they were so good I forgot to take the pic before I devoured them!!

Steak I wanted to order was told was now 35 percent more. Then ordered a bake potato that was so colc I couldn't get bitter to melt. Ordered a hamburger was rubbery and tasteless. All around bad bad food. Server was very attentive and very nice though .

Had the ribeye, tomatoes and broccoli. Ribeye was decent. It was a little fatty, but not enough where I couldn't eat it. The service was good. They ran out of oysters so no review.

Waitress Taylor noticed we had been setting in our seats ,in another waitress section when we came in. An she Came an took very good care of us while we were there 😊.She should be a manager or needs a raise..... Food was good!!

If you're looking for a local vibe this is the spot. There's a variety of different meals and unique flavors that you can only find here. I love that they have weekly specials and enjoyed every bit of wing Wednesday. Service was a little slow but we did visit during peak hours after all. The atmosphere was cozy.

They have the best wings in town. the service is great, and all of true workers act like they love to be there. i recommend the austin signature wings.

Visited here with a friend who had dined here before on several occasions. What a wonderful experience. I had some sweet and spicy Asian wings and they were delicious. My friends tried the Ahi tuna tacos and they looked out of this world. Everyone was more than pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. We Will be back!

First I would like to Thank the Young Man who took the time out to give me a menu, because no one else greeted me. I got the Crab Cake Sandwich with Seasoned Fries. The Crab Cake was delicious. The Seasoned Fries looked good, but tasted like hard salty two days old leftovers that should have never been served.

Brooklyn did a great job providing us with service! The food was awesome, as always.

Excellent hand-pattied, cooked-to-order, BBQ-Bacon Burger! Had the sweet potato fries as well. I'd visit again with zero hesitation and highly recommend if you've never visited.

Austin’s is a great place for a gathering with friends and family. Place seems pretty kid friendly. The setting was pretty cozy. I ordered the ribs. They were tender. My sides were Brussels sprouts which were pretty good. The okra was much to brag about. My rum runner drink was a little too much juice and not enough rum. Pretty disappointing. But the service was great. The server was very attentive.

The food is excellent in every fashion! Steaks are done to the perfect temp everytime so far. Apps and oysters are amazing! I will say that 95% of time I have been service has been awesome and as a past server myself, I am very critical. I will say though that because the owner does try to help out the local community, he hires a fair share of teenagers which can kind of bottleneck the service factor. I'm ok with that though because I know what it's like to be young and have to have a job. The only this review is a four star is because a few times I have been the service was not so great. Tonight though has restored my opinion on the servers in the Albany area, as Meghan and Jason (in the bar section) were absolutely phenomenal!!! Thank you so much guys for the great service!

This isn't the cozy romantic date sort of place, more the, let's get some good food and grab a couple beers sort of place. I had the Kicken Chicken sandwich with Sweet Chili sauce. It was very good. The seasoned fries had just enough seasoning. Our server was good too. One of my co-workers food came out later then the others but it looked good.

Good food great for parties what TV on the patio and heaters for cold weather!

Auhi Tuna Taco was good but would be better with ginger sauce. Service was good, but it wasn't crowd.

Excellent service , and great menu choices. Only the 2nd time we've been. They have a cook who definitely knows his steak temperatures.

My first time ever going to that restaurant. And truly it won't be the last. A very wonderful, pleasant atmosphere all smiles and our waitress was wonderful also a great experience.
